SERVING TYPE: 330ml Bottle

RATING: 4.75

(look: 3.5 | nose: 4.5 | mouth: 5 | taste: 5 | drink: 5)

NOTES:

Pours a deep muddy brown with a small off-white head.

Nose is sweet and malty - raisins, toffee. Tad bit of sour. Big brown sugar as it warms.

Mouthfeel is clean and crisp with a refreshing medium carbonation.

Taste is spicy and sweet with a slightly sour finish. Doesn't seem quite as complex as some other great quads, but it's so nicely balanced and delicious.

Drinkability at 10% ABV is absolutely ridiculous. I could drink this forever.

I'm a big fan of the Rochefort 10 and St. Bernardus 12, and I think this one might just top them both by a tad. The smooth drinkability puts it over the top as one of the best beers I've ever had.

Tremendously tasty.
