(look: 4 | nose: 3.5 | mouth: 3.5 | taste: 3 | drink: 3)

NOTES:

Bright redish amber, slightly hazy. 1 finger off white head. Couple rings of lacing faded down to some random spots.

Oily hop aroma, grapefruit and orange. Fresh cut grass. Little bit of alcohol. Some phenols.

Medium body and carbonation. Oily up front and drying as it goes down.

Pungent alcohol up front. Little bit of cherry and malty sweetness. Hop bitterness and citrus in the finish.

This is a sipper, and not one of my favorites. The alcohol bite is too present, especially for "only" 10% alcohol. Not much else going for it. Definitely misses the mark on the advertised "double IPA" style. Expected more defined hop presence.
